A little spot of Heaven comes to mind. What a pleasure it was to stay there The cottage is spotless, beautifully furnished with fantastic views. Was an absolute pleasure staying there and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting that area.

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. The unit has everything that is needed.
The yard is massive, tranquil and beautiful.
The most enjoyable part was burning a fire in-house at night, while enjoying the company of our most loved ones.
My advice is when booking make sure it's nothing less than 5 nights. That's needed to enjoy the place.

Hidden Gem: Location and views are amazing. Rooms and furniture are modernly styled. The farm is huge and fully equipped with everything you need to have an unforgettable experience, even firewood. The only regret you have is not booking in for longer.

Amazing accommodation beautifully presented, pristine linen, superbly appointed with a need for absolutely nothing. You get the feeling of being away from it all out in the midlands and yet Nottingham Rd with all its conveniences is 3km away. My only sadness is that we missed the big snow by a day and that we had to leave! Thank you Fairfax Farm for an awesome 3 night get away.

We recently stayed at Fairfax Farm for a peaceful weekend retreat, and it exceeded all our expectations! Nestled in the heart of the Midlands area, the location offered a perfect escape with a short drive to the main Nottingham Road hub. The stunning views of rolling hills and lush greenery provided the ideal backdrop for relaxation.
The home itself was beautifully maintained and cozy. It had a charming feel and was well equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. The kitchen was fully stocked, making meal prep a breeze, and the two living rooms had comfortable seating, perfect for curling up with a book or enjoying the views through the large stacking doors. One of my favourite features were the wood-burning fireplaces —it added such a warm, welcoming ambiance. The bedrooms were spacious and had the most comfortable beds. The bathrooms were spotless, with a modern yet rustic design

We stayed at Fairfax Farm over New Years and we had a lovely time. It's beautifully decorated with high quality pieces and the almost wrap around porch(es) provides beautiful views all around. The fire place is the heart of the house and adds to the great atmosphere. Could have stayed there for month! Highly recommended!!! Looking forward to go back.

Stunning home in the midlands…clean, warm (stunning fireplace), spacious and beautifully decorated. Despite the countless load shedding stages, the automatic switch over to a generous backup supply was absolutely seamless! We were totally oblivious to any load shedding interruption! We will definitely be visiting again and again..

Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds. Everything we needed was available from cookware to washing machine ect. Loved the electric blankets as it's the middle of winter and the daily staff that comes in to clean. Also the fact that there are 2 TV lounges so the kids didn't disturb my viewing. The wifi is an excellent touch. Overall excellent, highly recommended.

Fairfax is delightfully comfortable, luxurious, every thing and more that one would need while traveling, close to Notties, perfectly quiet and serene. Thank you for this gem, and the most comfortable nights sleep. A beauty with a view.

Fairfax is the perfect home away from home for any family! Beautiful, warm space with all amenities; incredible sunrise and sunset views. Great location only about 5km from stores and markets in Nottingham Rd. Mbali and the team are responsive, always on-call and really pleasant to deal with. I look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Notties.
