Fairfax Cottage is well equipped and luxurious. Set a top a hill the Cottage looks out over hills and farmland and leaving you with the feeling of being on your own island when the mist rolls in.
The beautiful bright, open layout and interiors follow through from the Farmhouse with both the interior and exterior living areas merging becoming one once the stack doors have been pushed back. Whether you are cooking up a feast in our gourmet kitchen or taking advantage of the perfect Midlands evenings with the built-in braai on the veranda, entertaining is effortless.
The veranda is outdoor living at it's best! Featuring couches for lounging and a large table to gather around to enjoy your meal together with family and friends. Windows on each end of the veranda allow you to either open the space up to let the breeze whisper through or close them up on those cooler, misty, damp days whilst still enjoying the indulgence of sitting wrapped up on the couch with a cup of coffee.
During the colder months, keep cosy with the doors closed and a fire going in closed fireplace whilst still being able to enjoy the serene landscape as the sun makes it way through the sky. Wood is provided.
A scullery featuring a dishwasher helps to ease the burden, whilst a washing machine and tumble dryer provides a necessary function for those with us for longer stays, or those involved with some of the many outdoor activities available in the area.
